Product Description

XPSGOLD Metal dector is a hand-held metal detector designed to precisely pinpoint
metallic (ferrous and nonferrous) objects during treasure recovery.
The latest version of the metal detector comes with two 9V batteries, which provide
plenty of power for your use
Note:
1. The LED light is on when you power on the detector, the detector needs to be away
from the metal, and when you hear the beep of the device after 2 seconds. After
the self-test is completed, the device can be used.
2. If the detector does not stop beeping, it may be the cause of low battery power.
When the low battery alert function is turned on, it will always alarm. Replace the
battery and test again.
 3, the metal detector is IP66 waterproof, the metal detection part below the LED
indicator light is waterproof, the LED and above the key to the cover is not
waterproof, if this part of the water detector function will fail.

Audio and Vibration Indicator
The Metal dector has both audible and vibrating alarms to indicate the presence of metal
objects. The alarms increase in intensity as the METAL DECTOR is moved closer to the
metal target.
360 degree side-scan plus pinpointing tip
With a pinpointing tip plus a scraping blade with side-scan capability, the Metal dector is
very effective in easily detecting even the smallest of metallic objects. LED flashlight An
LED flashlight assists in dark and low light conditions.
IP 66 standard waterproof
The Metal dector has an IP 66 standard waterproof rating,fully protecting it from the
environment and allowing it to be washed under running water or operated in the rain.
Automatic sensitivity
Microprocessor circuitry allows the Metal dector to operate at maximum sensitivity
without any need of adjustments.
Wide Applications
The Metal dector is ideal for the recoveryof small items in a wide variety of hunting
conditions, ranging from highly mineralized ground to saltwater-saturated sand.

This can be handy, especially if you are in a rocky area when it hits. Dig just a little, point this toward the hole, and will guide you to your "treasure". Especially if you aren't using a super high quality detector. It has a really secure metal snap on the holster, to attach to your belt, and is secure. It is, like most things, made of plastic, so, I can't speak to long term durability. But, it's a nice addition to the treasure hunting arsenal.

Not the best, but it works well. It has to be tuned off when I’m using my metal detector or the field it creates will trigger the detector. I tapped the end firmly against the sole of my boot and seated the winding core which increased its sensitivity. All in all, worth the money.

I own 2 of these and consider myself not a beginner detector but not a pro either. I take these to the river along with my fullsize metal detectors and dig through sand, sticks, small pebbles and anything else and they are holding up great. Batteries last a very long time and accuracy is perfect for the job I purchased it for. I know some more expensive names have more depth but I dont think thats always good if you are trying to "pinpoint" an object in a hole. They work great for me and if for any reason I lose one, I will definitely continue buying the same model.
