We are a home of multiple children and 3 dogs, the amount of dog hair, pollen and dust that is brought in is crazy. This air purifier is awesome, you can truly see the difference it is making just by seeing the washable filter. I sweep/vac and robo vac at least 1 time a day. This unit even tells you when air quality is bad and it has made us a lot more aware of our air flow. The seasonal allergies can tell the difference as well.

Removes odors well. One should have patience when cleaning a 1000 Sq ft area but does a very good job at removing odors. Using the app on default mode, the purifier indicates dirty air and automatically increases fan speed, and lowers fan speed as air quality improves. Connects to app easily and responds to your personal settings almost instantly. Had for only 10 days so I am still in a learning process with using the app. So far have been keeping on auto default mode most of the time and purifier is doing a excellent job at cleaning the air. Runs extremely quiet on fan speeds1&2 and very little noise on 3 setting. You can sit next to the unit when on 3rd speed setting and not be annoyed by fan. ( about the sound of a new refrigerator) There are a total of 4 fan speeds. Unit on auto default mode runs on very low fan speed all the time ( is so quiet I have to go to purifier and hold my hand over air exit to tell if fan is on) . Once dirty air is detected it automatically goes to a higher fan speed that is necessary to clean the air and back to lower speed as air is purified. Color lights change on unit and app indicating air quality. Would recommend downloading app because it gives you more options but works very well without app. Would highly recommend this unit.

My thermostat stated that our air quality was poor after running the unit for about an hour this thermostat stated that the air quality was clean. Like the filter has easy access and cleaning should be easy. Like that it can be controlled by my phone and can set it up to run automatically on any schedule. Works great having a dog in the house at night and keeps the air cleaner. Great product, good quality and simple set up. Like having the air cleaner with my children in the house. Just a little loud when the fan is on high(4) but 1 2 and 3 it’s not too loud. 1 and 2 is super quiet.

We have 3 Levoit air purifiers in our home. We bought the Levoit Vital 200S with the add on smoke specialty filter to try to combat the smell from our chain smoking neighbors. So far it isn't able to completely remove the smell but it does cut down the severity some. It will clear the smell eventually provided the source stops for long enough. It's amazingly quiet on the lower speeds. The higher speeds are a bit loud but the fan moves a ton of air around. I'm disappointed that the auto mode doesn't detect the smoke smell but I can use the app to turn it to high speed as soon as I smell it. You don't have to use the app but it's really easy to set up and connect. The app allows you to set schedules which is really handy and as I touched on earlier, it works as a remote control. As with the others, you're able to turn the lights off completely so it's good for bedrooms. We've only had this running a few days but I'm pretty impressed with what it can do.

I initially bought the Vital 100 and put it in our bedroom because I have terrible allergies. It collected a ton of dust and helped a lot with the allergies. I thought I didn't need the smart version but in hindsight the availability of specialty filters and the remote control would be very helpful. It's relatively quiet although on high it's too noisy for me to sleep with. I absolutely love that you can turn the all the control lights off. We tried using this for the cigarette smell but it wasn't very effective except when the smell was very light. It did completely abolish cooking smells though. If I could go back in time I would have ordered the 100S instead but this one works fine.

The smoke smell from the neighbors comes into our house through the laundry room which is a very small room. I bought the Core Mini to try to combat it. The Core Mini doesn't really do much to get rid of smells and was definitely overwhelmed by the smoke so now we move it around the house now when the pollen level is high. It works ok for dust and allergens but the range isn't great; you need to be right next to it to notice a difference. On low and medium speed it's barely audible and high is relatively quiet but overall the fan isn't very powerful. The lights on this one automatically turn off after a few seconds making it bedroom friendly. If I could do it again, I would have skipped this one and bought one of the larger ones sooner.

I have had 3 other smaller Levoit systems and love all of them, this is the largest one and it does an outstanding job with 2 long hair cats. eliminated cooking odors quickly and efficiently as well. Love the WIFI capability and running on setting 2 is very quiet, 3 and 4 are more noisy but if on auto mode it will adjust back down when air quality be very good. Great machine and highly recommend for large room.

Our household has three Levoit air purifiers. One of them is the Levoit Vital 200S-P, which we bought with an extra smoke specialty filter to tackle the smell of cooking. This thing is the best of four air purifiers I've had, two of which were from LeVoit, one from Daysun, and one from TaoTronics. The TaoTronics was the first I bought. It was pretty good...It was very quiet and had a sensor and digital display. The only reason I don't have it anymore is because TaoTronics filters became impossible to find in Canada. Next was a LeVoit (PUR131). It wasn't the best looking in the world, but it did an ok job. The display was ok, but the lettering vey easily rubbed off in some areas, and it started to become noisy later on. It had colour codes for air quality, with no digital numerical readout, which was 'meh' for me. It broke after capacitors on the circuit board failed, as was common for that model. I bought a Daysun (the one they claim is for 3000sq ft), and it was 'ok' at best. It started to make a small amount of noise on my third day of running it, so I returned it.

Then I got this Vital 200. It is beautiful, as far as air purifiers go; nice industrial design. It doesn't have a digital numeric display, but since it has such nice design, I can overlook that on this one. It still has air quality colour codes, mind you.

It is very quiet; at normal setting, I can't hear it where I sit across the room. I CAN hear levels 2, 3, and 4 (with 2 being reasonable, but 3 and 4 being quite noticeably louder, of course). In sleep mode, I can't hear anything at all, and its display turns off so the light doesn't keep you up at night.

The pre-filter is so good to have. You wouldn't believe how much that thing catches! Having the ability to wash the pre-filter is awesome, extending the life of the non-washable filters.

Easy to operate, and can be controlled using the VeSync app on your phone.

So far, I would highly recommend this air purifier. I've got it in a room that's about 320 or so square feet, and it's perfect.

If it acts up or breaks down, I'll come back and edit this to let people know. Cheers!

I don't know why I slept on this air purifier. This would have helped so much when my baby was born over a year ago. My air feels so clean, and holy moly you could sleep with your ear next to the machine on high it's that quiet. The sleep mode function is perfect for night time and I love being able to control the unit from my phone or on the unit itself which ALSO has a locking touch screen by the way (another parenting win if you have toddlers) the filters are reasonably priced and easy to clean, definitely worth in my opinion. I've even thought of purchasing another one for the basement. I live in a somewhat larger scale, very open concept home, and this unit has no problem cleaning the air. It will also let you know your air quality because of its built in AQI meter. There are too many reasons to buy this air purifier

This is definitely one of the best air purifiers I’ve used, and the best in this price range.
The amount of air this unit can pull through it and filter is amazing. The permanent, yet removable and washable pre-filter is a huge plus.
It does wonders on setting 2, which is quite quiet. Setting 3 and 4 (turbo) are a little loud, but can pull so much more air if needed.
I have it right near my living room couch and on setting 2 there’s no disturbance.
The “smart” features are nice with the app, and the light sensor means I can just leave it on full time and forget about it.
